  1. Nader Qudimat says:

I never thought of bow hunting as being such a profitable niche. I am a terrible bow hunter but I can see myself writing a book about it just for the fun and profit of it :). Anyone else agree?

  2. Cutty says:

Long time follower and reader and this is just brilliant. I'm running across niches like this and I'm having a problem "just doing it."

You offered up one heck of an article here full of information man, this one wowed me... I have the page to buy domains from bookmarked and it's hard not to go buy another domain or three!

    • NicheHacks says:

With the amount of niches that have been revealed and analyzed on the blog there can really be no excuse from anyone that they "can't find a niche". Pick one and get going.

Buying loads of domains isn't the solution though. You only need 1. That's the easy part too.

  3. Great post - again - NicheHacks! A good indication of this growth for bow hunting is that you see a lot more "bow hunting" or archery stickers on the backs of people's cars and trucks (mainly trucks) these days. Also, in the northwest there are a lot of small archery stores popping up. Finally, look in Cabela's, the Sportsman's Warehouse and other large sporting good stores - you'll see that the bow hunting sections are increasing in size and all of that gear is really expensive. Cheers! Jake at Spy-Tronix.

  4. Raymond says:

Hi! this is my first time of commenting here. i have been reading your articles/research for some time and i must say you rock. one thing that amaze me is that you don't spare anything, you write it like a book been prepared to be sold on amazon, yet you gave it free of charge. thanks man!

    • Nader Qudimat says:

Thanks Raymond, the kind of stuff that Stuart does here is incredible and can't be matched really 🙂 or at least IMO! Does this give you any ideas for anything?

  5. Kim says:

Thank you for the in-depth report. I would never of thought to do a site on bow hunting but now I know its a good one.

    • Nader Qudimat says:

Does this give you any ideas on anything? You can also do ebooks, kindle, reports, etc, so you're not only limited to websites 🙂

  6. Sean says:

    Hey Stuart and Nader,
This has to be one of the best blog posts I've ever seen. Here's a list of some things that I love the most:
-Underneath the statistical array of market/demographic info, you leave links to the sources!!! OMG, I have been searching for years trying to find sites that share this kind of data
-You found the most relevant tipping points for social traffic (Facebook pages, forums, blogs, youtube channels, podcasts, etc...) AND you made sure to point out that these are friendly things!
-You did an amazing amount of research on the different types of products and the places to go in order to become an affiliate (I haven't even thought about CJ in so long, I almost forgot it was there)

Seriously, this was like reading the blueprint for Survival Life straight off the desk of Ryan Deiss!
I'm now seriously motivated to jump in. I'm thinking that there is a way to focus on one type of game/terrain and use that as the niche within the niche in order to have some focus...one thing that doesn't get mentioned much on marketing blogs is that the fear of getting started is only half the battle, once started it's about not losing a certain amount of focus, as things get overwhelming pretty fast.

Example: Bow Hunting leads to Prepper/Survival leads to Zombie Apocalypse leads to 9/11 leads to Buy Gold. You know what I'm saying?
Versus: Turkey Bow Hunting > Wild Turkey Behavior > Best Spots For Turkey Hunting > Turkey Hunting in different climates >Best Bows/Arrows for Turkey > Best Gear (with several sub categories)> etc...

All I can think right now is how much money those dudes on Duck Dynasty made just from creating a specific type of duck call.

    • NicheHacks says:

Sean I love your thought process on the niche selection process. I would definitely go niche within this one and combine with a specific type of hunting / animal.

The survival thing is a huge world with thousands of different niches within it, people into it for all different reasons. But bow hunting for Wild Turkey is super specific and all your content could be targeted, consistent, aimed at one very specific type of person, very specific type of products, very specific message...and this is how you make money.

    • Nader Qudimat says:

This was all Stuart, I'm just the editor who edits :). Thanks for your great comment Sean. Like Stuart said, the survival niche is huge and there's tons of potential everywhere within it. I suggest you keep checking out NicheHacks as we're always on the look out for the survival niche and everything within it that can help you out in the long run.

Keep us posted, hopefully you stick to your plan and hold yourself accountable when we ask where you're at with this niche 🙂
